If you are in an eligible group for the NHS flu vaccine, you will receive a text message inviting you to book an appointment using a booking link. Clinics will begin from October 2025.

Who can get the free NHS flu vaccine
The flu vaccine is recommended for people at higher risk of becoming seriously ill from flu. You are eligible if you:
- are aged 65 years and over
- have certain long-term health conditions (such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma and others)
- are pregnant
Flu vaccines for children
Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025 (born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2023) are also eligible.
We will be inviting these patients, via text message, to book appointments for the nasal flu vaccine
Most school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) will get their flu vaccine at school.
