  • Preventing diabetes and supporting healthier lifestyles
  • Supporting carers and reducing isolation
  • Improving wellbeing through community connection

The event is designed to be friendly, informal, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone.

Why Happy Hub Matters

Happy Hub was developed as part of a wider prevention and health inequalities project focused on supporting patients at risk of developing diabetes and helping people access support earlier.

The project recognises that health is influenced by much more than medical care alone. Many people face barriers such as:

  • Isolation
  • Caring responsibilities
  • Language barriers
  • Difficulty accessing appointments
  • Lack of awareness about available support
  • Financial pressures and wellbeing concerns

Happy Hub aims to create a safe and welcoming space where people feel listened to, supported, and empowered.
